Organisers of the 2021 PAX Australia convention have this morning announced that the 2021 convention in Melbourne would no longer be going ahead in a physical format and moving online instead.

Reedpop and Penny Arcade were forced to cancel a number of PAX conventions around the world last year including PAX Australia, instead moving to the online format PAX Online which we spoke to Luke Lancaster about on the podcast.

Early this week the Interactive Games and Entertainment Association (IGEA) announced that the developer focused GCAP conference would also be moving online.

People who have purchased a ticket to PAX Australia are entitled to a refund with details to come shortly.

If you're an game developer who was planning on exhibiting at PAX Australia in 2021 get in touch with us, we'd love to showcase your game. Contact Pixel Sift
