Julian Wilton from Sydney and Jay Armstrong are Massive Monster, as studio that has it's roots in the flash game site Newgrounds, and are making their debut steam title The Adventure Pals.

Steam Greenlight has been the number one way that indie developers could get their games, generate interest and build an audience. But after 5 years of service it's replacement will launch on the 13th of June. But is this going to make it harder or easier for indie developers to make a name for themselves?

Some good ninja stuff, good samurai stuff, it took them a long time to get here but boy I'm glad they did.

Pros:
  • Naoe feels like the old assassins from previous games
  • Yasuke definitely doesn't, which is very welcome change
  • Absolutely stunning world that feels busy and lived in
Cons:
  • Maybe the world actually might be too big?
  • It's an evolution not a revolution, if you've bounced off Assassin's Creed in the past this doesn't break the mold.
